MSIDA

Msida is a small harbour town a stone’s throw away from the capital city of Valletta.

Much of its town centre was reclaimed from the sea post-World War II. It’s name derives Arabic, and signifies “a fisherman’s dwelling,” reflecting its past as a fishing village, now complemented by a bustling yacht marina.

Today, Msida thrives as a vibrant student town, home to the University of Malta and the Junior College.
