BOOK A VIEWING
SALINA
The small hamlet of Salina, borders Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq, Magħtab, Naxxar and St. Paul’s Bay, and is mostly known for its salt pans (Salini in Maltese) and the Salina Catacombs.
What started as a harbour was adapted into a reserve with saline marshland and salt pans and the Salina Nature Reserve, a haven for birds- seagulls, egrets and the occasional Great Flamingo, attracting bird watchers along the hiking trails at this reserve. Inside the reserve, you can also find Kennedy Grove, with expanses of green grass and shadowy refuges.
Despite its small size, Salina offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of urban life, making it an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation and natural beauty in Malta’s serene countryside.
