Valletta Furnished Villa
A four-bedroom villa is perched on the edge of Valletta’s shoreline, just minutes from local restaurants and the Sliema ferry. Situated at the foot of Malta’s historic capital, it's perfect for a tranquil holiday or for history and architecture enthusiasts.
Steeped in character and history, this enchanting villa dates back to the era of the Knights of St. John, when it formed part of the city's bastions. Later, during World War II, it served as a laboratory barrack for the British Navy. Despite its size, the villa remains a hidden gem along the Valletta Bastions' foreshore.
Entering through the marbled doorway, you step into a grand hall with a sky-lit ceiling and archways leading to various parts of the home. The original Maltese limestone walls and dramatic staircase add to the villa's historic charm.
To the right, an arched doorway leads to the kitchen and dining area, a space filled with natural light from large bay windows that frame breathtaking views of the harbor and Sliema’s shore. Wooden beams stretch across the ceiling, adding to the rustic ambiance. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for easy meal preparation.
The dining area flows into the living room, where neutral-toned sofas and armchairs complement the honey-colored stone walls. Modern parquet flooring adds a contemporary touch. This space also connects to three bedrooms: two on the ground floor and one on the first floor, accessible by a wooden staircase. The ground floor features a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a second bedroom with twin beds. There’s also an additional bathroom with a shower on this level.
Upstairs, the first-floor bedroom boasts a double bed, a single bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Low stone arches in this room further highlight the villa’s historic roots. Across from the main entrance, there’s another bedroom with an en-suite shower.
The villa’s crowning feature is its outdoor space. This area includes a pool surrounded by decking, a jacuzzi, and an outdoor dining table for eight, perfect for al fresco dining. A gas barbecue makes it easy to enjoy relaxing evenings with stunning views and a refreshing sea breeze.
